Solo exhibition of new work from Laurie Trok Studios.
Laurie Trok, known for her intricate paper cut ink drawings and installations has begun to work with cut wood forms that she designed based on forms cut away from her drawings.
These new works are scaled up and pared down, functioning in groupings and standing alone. Trok cut these organic and geometric forms to function as form and as paint surface. She will also be exhibiting works on canvas for the first time.
INTERVAL will include work from her Paper Ball Project, an ongoing project that seeks to create 1,000 cut paper balls.
