History of a Sugar Sculpture  were created with a body of sculptures made from royal icing that were airbrushed with paper behind, the resulting works function both as a document of the ephemeral sugar sculptures, and as pieces that ask the viewer to consider history and memory; the parts we see, the way it fades, the way even a literal document made as part of the process is incomplete.
